An AARP file photo of 81-year-old Bill Schweizer was selected as the first place winner in the National Blueprint 2003 Images of Aging Photo Contest. The photo captures Schweizer crossing the finish line in an AARP TriUmph Classic running event.
The first place award was a $200 gift certificate from Human Kinetics Publications. The Images of Aging photo contest was designed to portray older adults participating in sports or being physically active.
Betty Dabney of Bryan, Texas was the second-place winner for her photo of Jessie Coon, age 92. Third place was awarded to David Corbin of Omaha, NE.
Contest entries appear on the Blueprint Partner Support website in the role models section. Photos are available for Blueprint partners to use in publications, presentations, and other materials.
